Warranty.

VANILLA WARRANTY AGREEMENT

**1. Warranty Coverage:**

Vanilla (“Company”) is committed to providing high-quality lighting products to our valued customers. We warrant that all products distributed by our company shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 3 years from the date of shipment.

Damages resulting from shipping will need to be claimed within 48 hours of the delivery.

**2. Exclusions:**

This warranty does not cover defects or damages resulting from:

  1. Improper installation, operation, or maintenance. All products should be installed by licensed electricians in accordance with national and local electrical codes.
  2. Unauthorized modifications or repairs. This includes damage caused by alteration, power surge or overvoltage scenarios, exposure to abnormal stress and operation conditions, misuse, tampering, negligence, force de majeure, or any other abuse.
  3. Normal wear and tear. This includes cosmetic damage and mechanical damage during installation or operation.
  4. Damage caused by accidents, acts of nature, or misuse.
  5. Use of products outside their intended purpose. This includes failure to maintain the luminaires and associated electronics in proper working conditions.
  6. If drivers are used other than those provided by Lights On West.
  7. This warranty shall be void if a product is altered, serviced, or repaired by anyone other than Lites On West.

**3. How to Make a Warranty Claim:**

If you believe a product is defective and qualifies for warranty service under this agreement, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Vanilla and our team will guide you through the warranty claim process and how to complete the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) request.
  2. Proof of Purchase: You will be required to provide a copy of the original purchase receipt, sales order, or invoice.
  3. Evaluation: The Company will assess the product’s condition and determine if it qualifies for warranty service. If the product is covered, it will be repaired or at our discretion or replaced free of charge.

**4. Limitation of Liability:**

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lites On West’s liability under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the product at our discretion. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

In no event shall liability under this warranty exceed the original purchase price of the product. These warranties are in lieu of all other warranties express or implied including without limitation-implied warranties of merchantability or fitness. This warranty is nontransferable, whether by assignment or operation of law.

The Company will not be responsible for the removal and reinstallation cost of any

components or luminaires.

Products that are found not to be covered under warranty can be returned to the client at the client’s expense.

**5. No Labor Reimbursement:**

Vanilla is not responsible for the removal and reinstallation cost of any components or fixtures. This warranty does not cover any modifications, repairs, or replacements related to labor and material costs, that may be necessary to facilities or third-party products in connection with the removal, repair, or replacement of the fixture under this warranty. This warranty does not cover any labor or material costs.

**6. Modification of Warranty:**

The Company reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions of this warranty agreement at any time. Any changes will be effective upon posting on our website and will not be retroactive.

By making a purchase from Vanilla, you acknowledge and accept the terms of this warranty agreement.
